Mahikari:
A method of energy healing, with teaching centers in many U.S. and Japanese
cities. Mahikari is essentially an exorcistic technique that seeks to heal
the spirit attachments of the client, thus also bringing healing to the
client. This group believes that as much as 95% of all human physical
illness is caused by spirit attachment. See also:
Exorcism.

Medium:
One who facilitates communication between the living and the spirits of the
dead, either by channeling Spirit Guides through her or his voice, or by
leading séances featuring other means of contact such as table-tipping or
ouija boards, etc. Cross-dimensional communicators were usually called
“mediums,” before the term “channeling” came into vogue. See also:
channeling.

Metaphysics:
Metaphysics means “beyond physics,” or “greater than physics,” and generally
refers to events, ideas or experiences that cannot be explained in
conventional terms. Typically, these events, ideas and experiences cannot
be conclusively “proven” by scientific means, and are therefore open to
belief or disbelief. |
